A highly demanding but
immensely fruitful journey
through 2006 leads us towards a much-anticipated
excitement of 2007! The year, that passed us by, was
crucial for us as the first batch of this college was sitting
for their fourth year final examination. The preparations
were sincere, both by the staff as well as the
students. It was an absolute delight to see our hard
working students bagging the highest ranks in the
University exams. Our final year topper Mamta Solanki
and the third year topper Bhavita Wadhwa held top
positions in the University merit list too! Whereas the
academic excellence of my students gave me
immense satisfaction, equally remarkable and significant
were the cultural and social events as they are
indispensable for the over-all growth of any institution.
As a Principal, it was a matter of pride for me to celebrate
excellent results of my students in the joyous
company of my staff and their families on December
16, 2006. On a more humane level, I feel that the
social contribution is equally important for our
growth. So, we continued holding our camps, Medical
and Dental, week after week, spreading awareness in
an endeavor to improve the plight of the 'less
privileged' .
Another step in this direction was holding a ' Blood
donation camp' in the college on December 19; 2006.
Enthusiastic donors made it a huge success. I am
looking forward to several events in 2007 with great
eagerness. Not to be missed will be the events on our
professional and social calendar, including many more
CDE programmes, sporting events and cultural
evenings.
