The Principal

	Dr. M. S. Sidhu is a graduate (BDS) from Calcutta university where he was awarded Gold medals during all four Professional years. He post graduated in Orthodontics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and was awarded ML Wig gold Medal for Clinical Research by the President of India. He has published many of scientific papers and is a fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics and Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. In 2005 he was awarded membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2006, he was awarded Diplomat of Indian Board of Orthodontics. He is Professor and Head of Orthodontics department and joined as Principal of SGT Dental College in March 2005.

The Vice Principal

	Dr. (Brig.) B. L. Sapru, VSM, graduated from the Govt. Dental College, Trivandrum in 1965. He post graduated in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Mumbai. He has held a number of prestigious appointments in the Armed Forces which includes Dental Advisor Central and Northern Army, Prof. & HOD of the Armed Forces, Medical College, Pune. He has been post graduate teacher and was supervising post graduate programme in various Dental Faculties at AFMC, Pune, He was awarded by President of India for meritorious service and published number of scientific papers. He is Professor and Head of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department.

	Dr. Deepali Varma completed her graduation and post graduation studies in the years. 1996 and 2001 respectively. she is an aluminus of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. She joined the institute in March 2005. after completion of senior residency. She is incharge of the hospital laboratory and undergraduate teaching in pathology.

	Dr. Meenu Mittal Postgraduate in Pedodontics from KGMC, Lucknow, heading the dept. of Pedodontics since May 2006. Presented paper on comparative home locality of different endodontic dealers. Presented poster on supernumerary teeth – a care study. Attended various national and international (FDI) conferences.

	The department of General Surgery is headed by Dr. H. L. Khatri, who has retired from the PGIMS, Rohtak. He has trained more than 30 postgraduates. He has more than 50 publications in journals of repute, both national and international. His community services have been highly appreciated by Director, PGIMS, MDU, and Haryana govt. from time to time. Total Number of operations conducted by surgery department in the last two years has been above 600. More and more patients are visiting from Delhi, Gurgaon, Bahadurgarh and Jhajjar districts for surgery as this department provides cost-effective surgical care. Surgery department is admitting and operating on emergencies too.

	Dr. Sharnpal Sandhu is Professor in Periodontics, heading the deptt of Preventive & Community Dentistry on an additional charge. She post graduated in Periodontics from GDC, Patiala in 1997 She has presented papers in National Conferences of India Society of Dental Research at Amritsar and Indian Society of periodontology at Calcutta. She has more than 14 years of teaching experience. She has been a paper setter as well as internal & external examiner in Periodontics & Community Dentistry for more than 7 years. Apart from academics, she has been serving as the President of Sports & Cultural committee of the college from the very beginning.

	Dr.Monica Gupta, Associate Professor. and Head of Department(Pharmacology) who is MBBS, MD(Pharmacology) from PGIMS, Rohtak. She has publications in various indexed international and national journals.

	Dr. Anoop Chhabra joined MBBS at PGIMS Rohtak in 1990 & completed MD in Medicine in 2000 then joined senior residency there & later worked as Consultant in the department till Aug. 2003 then in Sep. 2005 joined SGT Dental College & till date working in the some institute.

	Dr. Dipa Mallick possess the degrees of M.Sc. and Ph. D. in physiology from Calcutta University. She has more than two and half years of teaching experience and some research papers. She has been awarded Prof. P. B. Sen. Memorial best research paper award.

	Dr. H. S. Grover is the Head of Periodontics department. Dr. Grover graduated in Dentistry from Faculty of Dental Sciences, Kings George’s Medical College, Lucknow, in the year 1985, Dr. Gorver won the “Gold Medal” during Final Professional university examination for overall brilliant performance. He completed his MDS in Periodontics from the same institution in 1988. His key areas of specialization includes invasive and noninvasive management of Periodontal diseases involving augmentative and regenerative procedures using grafts.
