 The Dental College and Hospital is located in Budhera village in the interiors of Haryana.
The population around the institute is rural where majority is illiterate. Proper medical and dental health facilities were scarce in these areas.
Adding to these challenges were unawareness, inaccessibility, low acceptability and low economic status. |

| The institute chose a motto of "Service before self" and put its energy and effort in the upliftment of the people of the surrounding areas. |
|
| In this endevour, our hospital and PCD (Preventive and Community Dentistry) department along with the Publicity and Transport department came together as a team. |
|
| At the grass root level, the Sarpanch is briefed about the facilities availabe at the college and hospital. Further with the help of publicity department,
publicity (Munadi)is done in the villages. The college plies four buses on a daily basis to different villages to pick up and drop the
patients for treatment. On weekly basis at the chaupals (center point)in the villages, health and dental check up and treatment camps are organized
where they are made aware of their existing problems and further health prevention strategies are explained. |

 "Prevention is better than cure" is a golden rule. If employed it has a greater benefit.To emphasize PCD
department has a special programme as school health programme where small children in their young age are given free
dental check up and free treatment and also health education to ensure future treatment.
Many schools around the institute have been adopted where children were given free treatment. |

| To further bridge the gap, the college has started a satellite clinic in the village Dadri, 20 kms. from the institute.
All emergency treatment and examinations are performed there and patients are referred to the college
for further treatment. |
|
| Many facilities at the college are free of cost. Owing to the economic challenges seen in the population, different programmes are designed to
promote health and awareness for better living among the people. |
|
| The institute has seen great success in the past and hope for more in the future as we diligently move forward. |
