Eligibility Conditions for BDS Course
  • He/She shall attain the age of 17 years or more on 31-12-2006.
Note:
The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Higher Secondary or its equivalent certificate.
  • The candidate must have passed both the following examinations:-
    1. Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education,Haryana or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in english and 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together in qualifying examination. However, the candidate must obtain pass marks in these subjects separately.
    2. The candidate must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of the competitive entrance examination by securing not less than 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together in the competitive examination.
Guidelines of the State Admission Committee
( Memo no. 9/SAC/05 dated the 21/22nd June 2007 )
1.The State Admission Committee Haryana has unanimously decided that the management of all the Private Unaided Dental Institutions may be allowed to fill up 35% of the total intake, from the following sources, on merit in fair and transparent manner:-

1st From amongst the rank holders of All India Premedical Test 2007 conducted by the CBSE.
2nd From amongst the rank holders of Combined Premedical Test 2007 ( Physics Chemistry and Biology) conducted by the State Govt.
2.1 The admission shall be made strictly as per eligibility criteria laid down by Dental Council of India/University after getting due permission from Govt. of India.
2.2 50% of the total intake of the Private Unaided Dental Institutions may be filled up through counseling to be conducted at Rohtak by Director, PGIMS, Rohtak on the basis of merit list of the Combined Premedical Test 2007 conducted by the State Agency i.e. MDU, Rohtak.
2.3 The vacancy position shall be reported to the State Admission Committee after every counseling or before conducting next counseling. If the seats remain unfilled / vacant after two counseling's by adopting the method of admission, they will approach the State Admission Committee for further directions.
2.4 Seven days time shall be provided to the admitted candidates for submission of fees.
3. The 15% seats meant for NRIs shall be filled up from amongst NRIs and their children/wards as per directions of the Apex Court in PA Inamdar case, on merit in fair and transparent manner by giving Public Notice in leading national newspapers with wide circulation. Fees against NRI seats shall be charged strictly as per the directions of State Fee Committee.
